My coughing has curbed considerably since I've been awake.
Does this mean that being upright is good for my cough?
Boo to paradoxes. :P

I really want to go to the Halloween Concert tonight (very similar to what the SSO did last year, except this year the Wind Ensemble is doing it) but I'm not sure if I'm going to be in the shape to go...

I am sick. :( Stupid cold that's been taking over the campus! I'm coughing a lot, which makes sleep not very restful for my back (but poor Moo has it much worse than I do), and I'm not sure whether I should go to all my classes today. I do have to go to Chinese, at least, because I have to take a quiz.

Last night, I had a nice dinner with Eric at Wilbur, went to a nice 30 minutes of Crusade meeting, and then went to Opening rehearsal. Most of Opening rehearsal was good (though I realized that pas du basques hurt right now), until the end when we were running through the waltz choreography and someone kicked me in the SAME SPOT where I had my worst bruise from Jammix last Friday. Blarg. And then the girls got our stationery for TSF writing (yup, Tmony and Opening have the same TSF session; fun for me and Kari, huh?). But then the night was redeemed by a very fun girldate ;) with Chi-En. We met at Late-Night and hung out there and came back to Mirrielees and hung out here until we both fell asleep. She woke up at some point in the middle of the night and went back to her room (I think she realized that both of us sleeping on my bed didn't allow very much comfort for our similarly problematic backs). I proceeded to sleep straight through until about 20 minutes ago.

Off to Chinese...

Lately I've been thinking a lot about where I was during this time of year, x number of years ago. I've been reflecting a lot about how I've changed and how my life has changed and how interesting it is to compare these different points in my life. I guess today's date in particular sticks out to me (most of you know I'm a big numbers person, so my pattern-oriented mind always remembers dates really well). Two years ago today, Matt and I broke up (after the 2-3 week process of doing so).

What else has come to mind?

- Five years ago, on Halloween, I made my first phone call to Matt about something else other than a pre-calculus question.
- Four years ago, I was already learning Calculus. (I really had no idea how important it would be in college.)
- Three years ago, I was writing my college essay for the Stanford Early Decision application. It took me *forever* to write, because it was about a very personal issue that I was still wrestling with at the time. I wrote about why I had stopped going to church.
- Three years ago, I thought Matt and I were going to get married after college. So did everyone else.
- Two years ago, God brought me to Stanford. Two years ago, God put me in Rinconada, and He blessed me with the people I lived with, to teach me what it means to walk my life with Him.
- As mentioned above, two years ago, Matt and I broke up.
- Two years ago, my roommate was a very special Emily Dawson. I miss you, Em.
- One year ago, I started singing.
- One year ago, I started dancing.
- One year ago was the last time I had to go to Cowell for anything. I had a terrible abdomen pain that made it difficult to sit or walk or do anything. Curiously enough, it also coincided with my first set of midterms fall quarter, like this yucky back thing going on right now. (You can look at the October 2001 archives.)
- One year ago, I had my faith tested in a way I had never experienced before. I had never prayed so hard for my family.
- One year ago, I was still terrified of praying aloud in a group. I always froze up--literally--and no words would come out.
- One year ago, I had no idea how tough the coming year would be.

Today?

Today, I am amazed by the truth of God's amazing power, grace, and faithfulness. That's not some doctrinal recitation I'm pulling from the Bible. This is about what God is doing in my life--about what He did for me, and in me, just yesterday.

Today, I think I am more of the person God created me to be.

Janet and I had fun and silly roommate time last night. ;) I love you Jan! :)

Goodness gracious. I was NOT with it during rehearsal tonight.

The 171 problem set is really, really hard. :( Phil, Felix, Karl, and I have been working on it since 4:00pm (we're like a little family sitting around the table! aw), and it is not budging. Boo to complicated derivations. At least this is my last problem set of the week.

Monday, October 28, 2002

By the way, we got our 171 midterms back this morning and it was every bit as bad as I thought it was. Blah.

I took a nap this afternoon to appease my back and missed math lecture in the process. Oh well.

Don't worry about me, I'm hanging in there. :)

3 hours of classes = owww. :(

Highlights from tonight's ChemE pset session::
- "We can do it, we can do it! We can help a Cinderella!" - Karl, singing, yes it was random
- update, 12:23am::
      "Oooooh" - Karl.
"Karl, don't OOH unless you got something." - Phil
- update, 12:41am::
      "Heyyy..." - Phil.
      "ARE YOU OOH-ING?!" - Felix

Tina's back has been very very unhappy. I was miserable during the closing time of the Crusade retreat this morning (read: it was bad enough to make me cry), and Eric had to drive back and take me straight to Vaden (formerly Cowell). It went from being a restricting-movement pain to being an intense-constant-wrenching sort of pain. For about an hour, it really really sucked (until the Advil I took kind of kicked in and I'd been lying down in the car for awhile). So I went to Vaden and finally saw a doctor, and she says she doesn't think it a problem with a disk or anything, but rather it's probably really bad muscle strain/spasms. I've been told not to sit up for very long and to do prescribed back exercises and take prescription doses of Advil and ice the area periodically. So, I missed Testimony rehearsal today, and instead spent the afternoon reading and resting. Since I'm not supposed to be sitting much, I won't be at my computer much either. Calling my cell will be the best way to reach me for awhile.

Saturday, October 26, 2002

Ugh. Opening rehearsal was NOT fun today. My back was hurting, and I was feeling light-headed and sorta dizzy the whole time. I had to sit out the first 10 minutes because when I stood up after stretching out my back I felt really dizzy. We were working on pivots today, too. And the next segment of the polka choreography. I really wish people would understand that IT MATTERS WHERE YOU COUNT 1-2-3-4 versus 5-6-7-8. Because if you teach it one way and then with the music it works out to be 4 counts later, IT CONFUSES PEOPLE who are trying to LEARN it. Yeah, I know I wasn't feeling great to start with this morning, so I was probably just easily irritable. But, for goodness' sake.

At least last night's Jammix was fun, despite the various dancing injuries I sustained. Bruise count = 3. :P Actually only one of them is bad enough to hurt a lot, but that one is looking pretty bad. Anyway, aside from that, I had a great time. I got there kinda late because I stopped by to visit Chi-En first, after going out to dinner with my parents. I'd forgotten how crowded it gets at these things! It was really good to see everyone I know through dance, though.

Dinner with my parents and my aunt was really nice. I've been so busy that I haven't really had time to keep in touch well with my family. Finally one of the procedures has allowed the doctors to detect what's wrong with my dad's digestive system (the bleeding that happened about a month ago). There's still a lot of talking to be done yet, but I'm really relieved that they're finally figuring things out. It's scary when you can't find what's wrong.

Well, I'm hopefully leaving in about half an hour for the Crusade retreat. I am REALLY looking forward to it. Midterms have worn me out and the fact that I got so easily frustrated this morning signals that I need to get away and refresh myself with God time. It's kinda funny because we're going to Camp Loma Mar -- which is where I was a counselor for Outdoor School during high school, and which is also where I was during this same weekend last year, except that it was for the SSO retreat! I'll be back tomorrow in time for Tmony rehearsal at 1:15. Have a great weekend, everyone. (PS: Don't forget to change your clocks back an hour tonight.)

Two pieces of news::
1) I am now OFFICIALLY declared in Chemical Engineering! FINALLY!
2) I got a 92 on my math midterm!!!! AHhhhH! :D The mean was 88, which is still really high, but I'm actually ABOVE the mean! And, 5 of the points I missed were stupid mistakes, even. Math is somehow the only subject at Stanford (other than general engineering courses) that I can get A's in. Funny how I determined during SUMaC that I could never be a math major. :P

I found some fun dance skirts at the Drama Dept. costume sale today! YAY!!!! My favorite one was only $1 and I'm probably going to wear it to Jammix tonight. ;)

My parents are coming to have dinner with me tonight!! :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRIS WALLIS!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEGAN!
*big mushy hugs^100* :o)

Wednesday, October 23, 2002

WOOHOO I am finally done with my super long day! I skipped ChemE and Chem131 lectures this morning to study for Chem171, which still turned out to be horrid. Then I came back here for lunch and a shower (yay for showers, they are so cool). Then I drove a car full of ChemE majors for a field trip down to Guidant Corporation in Santa Clara. They're a biomedical engineering company that makes cardiovascular products like stents and other things that I don't have the patience to explain here. The tour was really cool. I was hoping to find Andy Tung (CVHS '97) who has been working there since he graduated from college in 2001, but, to no avail. One of the tour guides knows Andy, though, so I sent a hello message through him. After the field trip, I had a very nice but rushed prayer buddy dinner with Michelle at the CoHo. It was really nice to relate to her in a new context (she went on the SSO Tour with me, and now she's in Testimony!). I found out that we have uncannily similar experiences with regards to school at Stanford and needing time off. It was really *really* encouraging for me to see her (now a senior) having recovered from a bad first couple years and now is passionate again about school, enough to apply to med school whilst facing all these "model pre-med" students who seem to swarm the Stanford campus. It gives me hope for the future. Seriously. :P Anyway, so after dinner with Michelle, I went to half an hour of Crusade large group, and then the remainder of Opening rehearsal until 9:00. No comment about rehearsal. :P And then I just got out of leading our alto sectional (we had to reschedule because the IV and Crusade fall retreats are happening this weekend). I love my altos. They are so good at learning music! And I feel like we're really starting to bond as a section. I'm looking forward to our alto dinner outing in a couple weeks. I'm also looking forward to Bible study tomorrow! :) And I can enjoy the Crusade retreat this weekend without any midterms hanging over my head! And tomorrow I'm going to visit Applied Biosystems in the morning to deliver Testimony CD's and visit with my summer coworkers! Yay for fun stuff!

So, in short, though I am really tired and my back still hurts, life is good. Poo on midterms. Life is still good. ;) More importantly, God is always good.

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'" - Jeremiah 29:11-13.

Bryguy683 (11:29:53 AM): pfy2 :-)

Gaahhghghhhgh~ That was BY FAR my worst midterm of this set -- ARGH it was SOOO HARD!! :(

Tuesday, October 22, 2002

The math midterm went pretty well, except for one problem where I got stuck halfway through on the integrating factor method. The *same* thing that gave me trouble on the ChemE midterm. Grrr. But at least the rest of it was easy.

The Advil isn't helping. :(

I finally gave in and took an Advil. Sigh.

Uh, okay so I just woke up after sleeping for 6 hours. I intended to "nap" at 8:00.

I think I was tired. :P

Well, now back to studying.

Monday, October 21, 2002

My computer is alive again! But I'm still in the process of reinstalling all my programs. Please excuse my absence in the computer world for just a while longer.

Saturday, October 19, 2002

I seem to lack motivation to write a whole lot here nowadays. Oh well. I'll just type for awhile and see what comes out. So this morning I had Opening rehearsal and a Tmony Core meeting over brunch. Opening is going alright--it's fun but some of the stuff we're doing is hard and sometimes rehearsal can go slightly awry but in general I'm really enjoying it. Core--I love Core. :) I am so blessed to be serving with three of my best friends in Testimony's leadership. Even when there's a lot to do, we have fun doing it with each other's company. Speaking of Testimony, there was a WHOLE bunch of last year's Tmony at the Swing Kids dance last night. We were such a dance-y group last year! Kari, Justin, Chi-En, Steve, and I were there, and Eric and Jeff showed up at the very very end. It was also fun to dance with the MND boys I got to know over the summer. :) Before going to Swing Kids, I stopped by Karl's birthday celebration at Zapata. It was fun to hang out, and weird to see all the connections between people you know from different places. The 6 Degrees of Separation thing might be an over-estimate. ;) Anyway by the end of the night I was sort of delirious. You should've seen me at the dance--I was laughing at really stupid stuff. ;) I guess that's what taking 2 midterms within 15 hours will do to you. And I still have 2 more waiting for me next week! Whee. :P But actually I think these next two exams will be less stressful. For the two I just took, I still had problem sets due in my other two classes. But for the two coming up, since I just took exams in the other two classes, I don't have any work due for them. So that's good, yay! In other news, my back has been bothering me lately. Not good. :( Ever since this one day at work over the summer, when I spent 2.5 hours straight standing in one place working on an experiment, my back has been really easily fatigued. I noticed it the most when I'm sitting down and leaning back in a chair, and I do something, like lift my legs, that puts weight on my lower back, and I definitely do whatever I can to undo what I just did because it really hurts my back. :( This is not good. Oh well, I will just be careful with myself. Hmm, what else is going on lately. I FINALLY made it to a Crusade large group meeting, which was great to see everyone and meet the new freshmen, even though I had to leave early for Opening rehearsal. I missed Bible study this week because I was taking the Chem131 midterm. I'm definitely spending a lot of time with the ChemE juniors, because we're like all in all of our classes together. I really appreciate all the friends I have to work with on ChemE stuff. Yay for Karl, Felix, Tony, Phil, Jim, and Chris! (All boys, see? :P) I guess the main theme of my life is that I am really busy. (I bet you're surprised.) But I feel like things are fairly under control, so that makes me happy. :) Hmm OK so the plan is to install Windows XP on my computer this weekend (with the wonderful help of Kris). I hope it works! Matt built my computer and did weird partition things to my hard drive so I need a computer person to help me do anything to it because I'm afraid I'm going to break something. ;)

Friday, October 18, 2002

Evidently it's Homecoming Week here at Stanford. This marks an interesting time of year for me. Especially with the weather getting a whole lot colder and crisper. I guess what they say is true: your first love never really completely leaves you.

BOO to scheduling conflicts. BOOO. :P

2 down, 2 to go. The ChemE midterm was really hard and I know I messed up on some of the differential equation integration, but I did finish the exam and get answers for all the parts (even though I left some of it unintegrated). So I think I will be alright. We also got our Chem131 midterms back (yeah, already!) and I didn't do super wonderfully, but I did get roughly the average score, so that's okay too. I made so many stupid mistakes on that exam...boo to me! I'm going to see if I can scrounge a couple more points out of the TA's. ;)

In other news, pchem on Friday mornings with the Chem171 TA's has got to be the 50 most frustrating minutes of my week. UGH.

I am so glad it's Friday!

Tina's brain is fried...with dimensionless variables...mmm. :P
You know you've got a problem when you have 4 ChemE's in a room, all having come from an ochem exam, and they're laughing hysterically about naming their variables in such a way that the resulting dimensionless equation reads something about Channing Robertson. Whoo boy.

Thursday, October 17, 2002

1 down, 3 to go. I think tonight's went okay...but I guess we'll see tomorrow morning. :P
Next up:: ChemE100 @ 9:00am. Off to study with the ChemE posse in Castano lounge!

I will NOT get sucked into this. I will not.

Wednesday, October 16, 2002

Well I tried to blog last night but the server wouldn't let me.
Anyway, yesterday was a good day but now I need a nap. :)

Tuesday, October 15, 2002

I am 2/3 done with my math, I washed the big pile of dishes today, and Testimony rehearsal went wonderfully!

I got 8 hours of sleep last night AND I'm starting the math problem set (due Thurs.)!! :) Goal:: Finish math today, so I can spend tomorrow studying for midterms.

Monday, October 14, 2002

I am DONE with the Chem171 pset (due Wed.) and it's NOT EVEN TUESDAY!!!!! :D wheeeeee~

Current Music:: The Corrs - "Runaway"
I'm still working on the ChemE problem set but I just got a lot of help from Phil upstairs and now it's just a matter of doing this ugly integration and then I'll be done! And I love music! You all probably knew that but I feel like I rediscover it every day! Testimony rehearsal was great! Church was great and the kids are so much fun! And God is so awesome! :)

Sunday, October 13, 2002

Opening rehearsal was fun. Core meeting was productive. ChemE BBQ was enjoyable, informative, and worthwhile. Studying/working/reading happened for several hours tonight at Chi-En's. Time for bed! More tomorrow.

Friday, October 11, 2002

OK, so after many ups and downs and ups and downs in the decision-making process, I have decided to do Opening this year. At first it looked like there was a good chance that rehearsals would actually be moved to 7:45-9:45 on Wednesdays. But then that didn't play out, as of this morning, and I had a really tough decision to make in the matter of hours. I tried many times to call Christine but she was unreachable all afternoon, so I didn't actually get to talk with her before deciding. I'm not going to rehash it all here because making the decision was actually fairly emotionally draining. I kept going back and forth, leaning in a different directions. The long and the short of it is that I've been given permission to miss the beginning 40 minutes of the 7:00 rehearsal for the first 3 Wednesdays this quarter and have that count as one of my allotted three absences, and the remaining 5 Wednesday rehearsal don't start until 7:30 anyway due to a room-booking conflict. So that pretty much gives me an average of half an hour at Crusade large group meetings this quarter, which isn't great, but given many other factors I am willing to do that. Next quarter I'll have to deal with a head-on conflict every Wednesday, because I can't do the coming-late thing and there won't be any more room-booking conflict, but I'm more okay with that because it's later in the year and I'll have had time to meet the new people in Crusade and get somewhat settled into a routine with the new group. I'll deal with that when it comes, I guess.

First Opening rehearsal is tomorrow morning 10-12. :) It hasn't quite sunk in yet that I'm doing this.

Agghhhghhhghh~

I need to talk to Christine (my Bible study leader).

Thursday, October 10, 2002

I made it in!!!!! :D

Decisions = bad. :(

Wednesday, October 09, 2002

Opening auditions...went alright, I suppose. :) I was definitely nervous but it got better eventually. I missed the first round of auditions (which was on Saturday morning, during the time when I was singing in a wedding), but the choreography was pretty easy to pick up. There were SO many girls auditioning! :P And definitely not enough guys. Well, I guess we'll see how it goes. I'm trying not to think about it. :P And I'm not even sure I'm going to decide to do it if I get in, because the Wednesday night rehearsals conflict directly with Crusade's large group meetings. If there's a possibility of moving rehearsal back by 45 minutes or so, I'd be willing to do it. But like I said, we'll cross that bridge when/if we get there.

I also just had a very nice chat with Eric after we got back to Mirrielees after auditions. We haven't really gotten to hang out much lately (at least, not for the sake of hanging out instead of for Testimony). So that was nice.

Back to work on my math pset. :)

Hm. So I guess I'm auditioning for Viennese Opening tonight. Scary! :(

Tuesday, October 08, 2002

Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any to actually blog something substantial for the first time in three weeks. I don't have any classes tomorrow morning, nor do I have a problem set due tomorrow. Yay! :)

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. I think I'll have to organize by subject, because otherwise you'd just get a really boring recounting of how I ran around like a headless chicken for about 12 days straight (and then some...) after moving onto campus. With that, I guess I'll start with the biggest topic, which is---can you guess? ;) ---Testimony! :)

I started the process of moving onto campus on Wed. Sept. 18. And that is the day that The Craziness began. First of all, I had quite an interesting time trying to move all my stuff from my summer apartment into Mirrielees by myself. (My dad was supposed to help me move, but for obvious reasons, he didn't.) Anyway, so it ended up taking me 3 days (due to Testimony's obligations to the Orientation people) to get fully moved. That Wednesday was also the Tina's Spectacular Airport Mix-Up. Right, so I was supposed to pick up Bryan and Jason from the airport, as my blog said from the night before. Well, SOMEHOW, I don't know how, but somehow Jason and I evidently never EXPLICITLY confirmed which airport he was flying into. So, I picked up Bryan from his terminal at SFO, and Jason and I were on the cell phone with each other trying to meet up with each other at his terminal. The conversation ended up going something like this: "Uhhh...I don't see you...yes, I'm by the American sign...No, there isn't a Southwest sign...OHHHH, crap!!" Yeah, so it dawned on me that Southwest DOESN'T FLY INTO SFO! Oh man, that was such a terrible realization. I seriously don't fly enough, so I guess I wasn't thinking straight. And Jason's emails had never specifically said he was flying into San Jose, so I assumed he and Bryan were flying into the same place. BIG AIYA. Anyway, so it all worked out in the end because Jason hopped onto Caltrain (which, thankfully, is easy to get to from SJC) and I picked him up from the Palo Alto Caltrain station. Whew!

That night began the meetings and rehearsals galore for a cappella officers. We rehearsed (*ahem* sang through twice) Stanford's alma mater, "Hail, Stanford, Hail!" in preparation for the next day's Freshman Convocation. The really stupid thing is that WE DIDN'T END UP SINGING AT CONVOCATION. Someone messed up and the soloists who were supposed to lead the entire crowd to sing it through a second time (after they sang it the first time) just stopped singing. And then the recessional began. And all the a cappella members (all eight groups were dressed alike in blue jeans and white shirts and we definitely had a clear presence at the Convocation) were looking at each other like, "um, weren't we brought here to SING?!" So that was a big mix-up. And then there was more mix-ups regarding our duties in helping tear down the millions of chairs (okay so it only felt like millions of chairs) after Convocation, and also later that night after Parents Dinner. The long and the short of it is that it was a long day of manual labor, which ended up being the second day of three days of manual labor for me, since I was still in the process of moving in more or less by myself. (Thank you to Bryan and Justin for helping a bit, though!)

A cappella recruiting began day after Convocation, which meant: 1) manning a table in White Plaza, 2) lots of flyering, 3) many Tmony rehearsals to get in shape for Orientation A Cappella Fest, and 4) lots of Core discussion to prepare for the coming year. It was all very busy but things went quite well. It was amazing how quickly we got our group sound up and going again. I guess it shows how hard we worked to make good recordings on the CD last year. It was great to see everyone again and catch up and spend some last few days together as old Tmony before we formed the new group for the new year. We had a CD celebration party on Saturday (Sept. 21), because ... >DUH DUN DUN< ... Echoes is FINALLY out of production!!! We received the shipment of them the *day* before our party (thank goodness!). I think the CD design looks AWESOME and I'm totally excited that the project is finally finished! Please visit the newly redesigned Testimony website and click on "Albums" for the CD order form if you're interested. :D

The Orientation Show on Tuesday night went really well, in my opinion. Kari and Eric both wrote about it in their weblogs (scroll down to the entries shortly following Sept. 24), so I'll let you get the picture from their writings. All in all I was very pleased with our performance (we sang "Heaven's Heart" and "Worlds Apart" and our continually improving relations with the other a cappella groups on campus. I think we're finally becoming a part of the a cappella community for real, which is great!

Our audition signups ended up being packed after the a cappella show on Tuesday. We had to extend our audition slots on both ends (before and after) in order to hear everyone who wanted to try out for us. We had so many amazing auditionees! After two days of auditions and a third day of callbacks, we made the (long and incredibly difficult) decision to accept 10 new members to Testimony, which, including the 8 returning members, makes 18 of us in Testimony this year! We decided to expand our soprano and alto sections to 5 members each, and we have 4 tenors and 4 basses. I could go on forever talking about the new group, but I'll leave that for another post. Just suffice it to say that I am REALLY pleased with how Testimony is going so far this year, in many many ways. Let me introduce you to Testimony A Cappella 2002-2003... :)

YAY TESTIMONY! :D Hee hee, and juniors outnumber all the other classes this year! Oh yeah!

The auditions process itself was rather grueling and involved the aforementioned two all-nighters, but miraculously I got through it and even managed to be conscious enough to enjoy a very fun post-audition retreat with the new group (except for just a couple who couldn't make it). I took them back to Castro Valley (woohoo! ;) ) and we spent the day (Saturday, after rolling out the new members that morning! Ask me for a definition if you don't know what that means...) hanging out at my house, eating, going to Lake Chabot for a couple hours, playing lots of games, eating some more, singing, worshipping, and talking. We slept at my house that night, and then we all went to church together at The River the next morning (yup, drove all the way down to San Jose) and had lunch at a Chinese/Vietnamese noodle place in Cupertino afterward. Oh, I wish I could go into details, but my blogging energy is starting to go kaput so I better keep going and wrap this up!

Anyway, so it's late and I'm going to go to bed soon. But here's a brief glimpse of the *school* end of things here at school -- this is what I'm taking this quarter at Stanford::

Fall Quarter 2002
Chemical Engineering 100 (Chemical Process Modeling, Dynamics, & Control) -- MWF 9:00-9:50
Chemistry 131 (Organic Aromatic & Polyfunctional Compounds) -- MWF 10:00-10:50 <---(I'm retaking class)
Chemistry 171 (1st quarter Physical Chemistry) -- MW 11:00-12:15, F 11:00-11:50
Mathematics 53 (Ordinary Differential Equations) -- MTWThF 2:15-3:05
Chinese 6 (Beginning Conversational Mandarin) -- TTh 1:15-2:05

Still have lots to tell, but that's all for tonight. Feel free to prod me with specific questions if you're curious about something. And for now I bid you goodnight.

YAY!! I got Meggy to start a(nother) blog! Here is Meg's blog of her adventures in Paris!!!!
Now if only I could get Emily to start one about her adventures in Granada, Spain -- then I could read all about my friends who are abroad right now! (( That is, if Kristin (who's in Germany) would actually write in hers! Erin is being great about updating hers (in Florence, Italy). Yay! ))

(I'm up working on this dratted math53 pset. But at least I don't have any classes tomorrow morning!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEGS!! :D *big hug*

Wednesday, October 02, 2002
